Holiday Inn Express & Suites Austin South By Ihg – Hotel near airport in Austin

The hotel's location was very convenient to the South Congress area of Austin and offered easy access to the freeway and other parts of the city. While the staff was very helpful and friendly, there were some issues with the overpowering smell in the rooms that resembled body odor or onions. The dining experience was enjoyable but not the best for a Holiday Inn Express. Security onsite needs improvement due to the high-crime area.

I was pleasantly surprised by the clean and fresh rooms at this hotel, which were even more spacious than I had expected. The service was top-notch, with staff being super nice and very helpful throughout my stay. While the location was convenient for my plans in Vista Bella, it was slightly marred by a serious fly problem. Dining options were satisfactory, although I wished for a better variety of choices. Overall, a good stay with a few minor drawbacks.
